    1/2 tin (200 g)
  • Dahi (Curd)
    500 g
  • Kesar (Saffron)
    10-15 strands
  • Cardamom Powder
    1/2 tsp
  • Finely Chopped Mixed Dried Fruits (optional)
    2/3 tbsp
How to Make Kesar Shrikhand

Prepare Kesar Shrikhand Recipe

  • Step 1

    Put curd in a muslin cloth and allow to hang for 30 minutes or keep in a strainer with fine mesh. Press to make sure that excess water is removed.

  • Step 2

    Soak the saffron strands in 1 tbsp water.

  • Step 3

    Pass the hung curd through strainer to get smooth thick curd without lumps. In a bowl mix together the curd, NESTLÉ® MILKMAID® Condensed Milk , soaked saffron strands and cardamom powder.

  • Step 4

    Place in the refrigerator for an hour before serving.

  • Serving Suggestions:

    Garnish with finely chopped nuts.
